Alarms for: Mains failure alarm without possibility of time delay, low battery voltage, over/undervoltage, disconnected battery, aged battery, cell short circuit, charger error & tripped load fuse. 2 single-pole (+) fused outputs. The fanless, well-ventilated enclosure is painted in red with structure, LED for alarm indication and equipped with 7 knockouts for cable glands. The unit should be wall-mounted. Please note that batteries are included. 2 year warranty. The EN54 MX series is mainly used in fire alarm systems where the installation requires an EN54-4 certified battery backup and for smoke dampers that require an EN12101-10 certified battery backup. The EN54 MX series offers CONTROLLED CHARGING which means that the batteries are never charged with more than 1A. This prevents the batteries from being overcharged and significantly extends their lifespan.
