PoE Medium is mainly used in security systems where a simple and reliable power supply with battery backup & PoE function is needed. PoE Medium offers CONTROLLED CHARGING which means that the batteries are never charged with more than 0.5A. This prevents the batteries from being overcharged and extends their lifespan significantly. The PoE series can be used with both AGM batteries and Lithium LiFePO4 batteries.
