Alarm for (3 outputs): Delayed mains failure alarm. Output 4 is used for option; sabotage. 1 double-pole fused output + 1 single-pole (+) fused output. The well-ventilated enclosure is painted in black with structure, LED for alarm indication and equipped with 3 knockouts for cable glands and a knockout in the back. The EN54 series is primarily used in fire alarm systems where an EN54-4 approved battery backup is required. The EN54 series offers INTELLIGENT CHARGING which means that when the batteries are fully charged they will be electronically disconnected for standby mode for up to 20 days. By charging the batteries every 20 days (instead of not being used at all) the system helps to extend the battery life by up to 50%. The batteries are automatically reconnected in less than 50 microseconds when needed. The system is also equipped with internal power resistors for qualified battery capacity testing, which indicates when the batteries need to be replaced. The EN54 series is system certified and tested together with AGM UPLUS 10+ Design Life 20Ah batteries. The EN54 FLX M series can be supplemented with up to 4 battery boxes if required. The battery box is pushed into the bottom of the battery backup and has space for up to 2x 45Ah batteries per battery box. The battery boxes are easily connected via a plug-in connector.
